Val King - The Rooflight Company

Valerie King is Chairman of the Rooflight Company based in Shipton-under-Wychwood.

For over 15 years the Rooflight Company has provided roof-lighting solutions to architects, designers, builders and homeowners. The company has gone from strength to strength, now employing over 60 people and offering the widest selection of roof windows and skylights in the UK, as well as bespoke service delivering special roof lights to order.

Val is now in the process of launching her new business Solarity Architecture.  Designed to provide self builders with an attractive and unusual ecohome that can be extended as a household grows, these homes are for people seeking an ecologically responsible house for the 21st Century, but for whom resources may not stretch to a larger home initially.

In her 'spare' time Val is active in numerous community projects including the Fredericks Foundation.
