Steve Houghton-Burnett - Chairman M60 & M621

Steve combines his passions for people, business and public speaking as a serial entrepreneur. He built, led and sold one of the first Internet Service Providers and one of the first regional Internet Portals in the UK.  However it wasn’t all plain sailing and says he has learnt many business and life lessons in having the score sheet of ‘won one, lost one and drawn one’ for his previous three businesses.

In addition to this, he has held positions as varied as Managing Director, Director of Transformation, Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Officer.  Recently he has led a number of significant business transformation programmes with enterprise wide ramifications and budgets from £20m to £200m.

Steve is now following a portfolio career and having been a member of MD2MD for seven years, is now a Director and launching groups in the North-West of England and Yorkshire.  He is also supporting businesses and the local government with consultancy, public speaking and one of his businesses licences the successful UGRs corporate culture transformation frameworks for the UK market.
