Paul Herbert -
Paul left University with a Mechanical Engineering degree specialising in Design and Thermodynamics and worked for Associated British Ports (ABP) in research where he was involved in assessing the impact of different foundations of the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge on the river Thames.
After his time at ABP, Paul worked for Hounslow district health authority on capital projects over £30K as an Engineering Works Officer where he oversaw the installation of the first duel fuel plant in the district.
After a short period at the health authority, Paul returned to the private sector and worked for a company specialising in high pressure air and gas dryers. During his time there, Paul designed the controls for the high pressure air supply used in purging the ballast tanks on the Vanguard Class submarines.
In 1999 Paul joined the Rooflight Company as the Design manager and subsequently the General Manager. In 2005 Paul gained his MBA from Oxford Brookes University and in 2007 became the Rooflight Company’s Managing Director.
