Sports Marketing and Data specialist with a huge passion for sport and vast experience spanning 15 seasons in the industry across ticketing, commercial sales, marketing strategy, online branding, digital engagement, sponsor activation, CRM and database management and increasing key revenue streams at clubs of all sizes. Matt is also available for consultancy on data and marketing strategy and system infrastructure in sport.
ClubView was founded in 2019 to provide financial data and reporting services to sport.
Since early 2019, our research and development has led to pilot testing our platform at EFL football clubs, and in defining our data structure and benchmarking platform to benefit all sports.
We knew we wanted our platform to be financially accessible to leagues and clubs of all sizes and revenues, to enable standardised and accurate independent benchmarking and forecasting to identify growth opportunities and industry trends. Our data driven approach allows this, utilising a wealth of data – much of which is already collated by leagues – to create one industry benchmark.
Fast forward to 2021, and having continued our research development and scoping through the Covid-19 pandemic, and having secured funding, we are now launching our benchmarking platform.
Offering independent real-time financial benchmarking, our clients will be able to understand their financial performance compared to industry best practice, without compromising commercial sensitivity.
Through my membership I’ve received some great advice and solutions that I would never have thought of on my own entrenched in the day-to-day.
I joined MD2MD when I started leading my company on a day-to-day basis and we were recruiting our team. I’d had some mentoring, and as someone who was new to the position of CEO, recognised that I needed to learn (quickly!) to look at solutions and issues in a different way.
