David Murray is Executive Director at the politically neutral think tank, Sustainability First. With over 20 years in the charity sector, he has led work on conservation, sustainable transport, and social equity. Career highlights include helping secure the UK’s first Green Party MP, shaping coastal access legislation, and driving £1 billion of government investment in walking and cycling. A Chartered Environmentalist, David holds an MSc in Environmental Conservation and is a Fellow of both IEMA and the Royal Geographical Society.
