Laura Riley’s journey is one of courage, reinvention, and remarkable resilience. From adapting to new countries as a child, to working on the front line of mental health care, to rebuilding her life as a young mother escaping abuse. Laura has overcome challenges that would stop many in their tracks.
In 2013 she founded Mums In Need, a charity supporting mothers experiencing post-separation abuse and coercive control. Today, as CEO, she leads a growing team, supports fellow charity leaders, and delivers accredited training to help employers recognise and support staff affected by domestic abuse.
