From Surviving to Leading With Purpose

Laura Riley’s journey is one of courage, reinvention, and remarkable resilience. From adapting to new countries as a child, to working on the front line of mental health care, to rebuilding her life as a young mother escaping abuse.  Laura has overcome challenges that would stop many in their tracks.

In 2013 she founded Mums In Need, a charity supporting mothers experiencing post-separation abuse and coercive control. Today, as CEO, she leads a growing team, supports fellow charity leaders, and delivers accredited training to help employers recognise and support staff affected by domestic abuse.

In this interview, Laura will share:

  • How she went from staff nurse to charity CEO

  • The tools she uses to stay resilient while juggling life and leadership

  • How adversity shaped her confidence, purpose and drive

  • Practical insights for women leading through pressure and change

Expect an open, practical and inspiring Q&A with plenty of real-world insights you can bring back into your own life and leadership.
