After a successful career in International marketing for BOC and Pilkington, Val left her job to take over as Managing Director of The Rooflight Company a business that emerged from her architect husband’s drive to address the need of his client for a Roof window for their heritage home. 25 years later, and 15 years of MD2MD membership later, Val and her husband have proudly converted their company to Employee Ownership so Val now works for her staff!
