When and where?
Wednesday 8th September 4:00pm-5:30pm – Online via Zoom (invite only)
We have (nearly) all heard the stories of Richard Branson, Elon Musk and others racing into Space, recently with the youngest and oldest ever astronauts. It’s now over 50 years since Neil Armstrong was the first human to set foot on the moon and advancements in space technology have come a long way since then. And the race is accelerating.
We’re already seeing the benefits – from solving technical challenges and improving communications, to helping us observe the weather and climate.
As a change from our usual style of interactive workshop (less time spent on Q&A,) we have invited Stephen Carver to share his thoughts on how the space sector will impact all of our lives – not in the next 10 years’ time but in the next 10 months.
As this is a webinar we will do our best to welcome as many members who are able to attend with members of their senior management teams if they wish.
Stephen is a senior lecturer in project and programme management action, execution and implementation. Prior to Cranfield University, Stephen worked on projects for the oil business and then moving on to work at Virgin before working directly for a global CEO as head of Project & Programme Management Strategy. He has experience of Project and Programme Management in almost all business sectors from banks to oil and from construction to law firms. He has lectured and consulted globally and is highly experienced in presenting ideas in a way that bridges different cultural and organisational differences. He is an Honorary Fellow of The Institute of Risk Management and an Honorary Fellow of the Association of Project Management.
