Objective of group
To enable attendees to gain an improved understanding of the topic through discussions with their peers, where YOU add value for each other.
These are discussion groups not expert workshops. We also offer sponsored and professional speaker workshops where an expert shares their thoughts, tips and tools.
This is a peer group where learning is peer to peer, sharing their experience, asking questions and testing interpretations. The MD2MD team and facilitator ares there to organise, facilitate and encourage the conversation, not as experts. While occasionally we might share a view, the primary value is what attendees contribute for each other.
Peer group meetings work well when everyone attends regularly, contributes fully and builds a trusting confidential relationship with their peers. So come along prepared to take an active part, with your camera on and without distractions, to learn from others, to debate and discuss and to challenge and support each other.
Group / Meeting etiquette
- Cameras on and full attention on the meeting so you can contribute your value.
- Microphones off except when speaking so no distracting background noise.
- Attend regularly to build trusting relationships.
- Respect confidentiality so the group is a safe space where we can discuss sensitive matters.
