Liz Jackson MBE

Dr Liz Jackson MBE is an inspirational figure with an extraordinary story, as many would have discovered when she was featured in Channel 4’s ‘Secret Millionaire’. Honoured by Her Majesty the Queen, Liz was awarded an MBE in the 2007 for services to business, and in 2012 she was bestowed with an honorary doctorate by Staffordshire University for her business achievements and inspiring others. Liz is also an accomplished author, having published her book StartUp! which provides invaluable help and advice to entrepreneurs everywhere. After running her own award winning company, Great Guns Marketing, for 17 years – a business which she launched the year she lost her eyesight – Liz is now the Sales & Marketing Director for leading business sale advisor BCMS, where she spends most of her time interacting with business owners as they plan to scale up their companies and consider succession. Liz also hosts and facilitates The Fellows Group, which is a vibrant network of over 200 entrepreneurs who have successfully transacted through BCMS. The network aims to connect individuals who have all been through the unique experience of selling a business.
