Craig Marshall
Craig Marshall was born in 1963 and following a first degree in Mechanical Engineering from Liverpool University joined Oxford Instruments in 1985. In the 1990s Craig completed an MBA at Warwick University the hard way, by distance learning, with a young family and whilst on a 3 year delegation to Germany. Despite these challenges Craig earned a distinction from Warwick.
Following a career spent exclusively within the healthcare sector at Oxford Instruments, Amersham plc and GE Healthcare Craig took over the reigns as the Managing Director of Siemens Magnet Technology in Eynsham four years ago. Siemens Magnet Technology is a Best Factory award winning facility which employs a team of 450 responsible for R&D and production where progressive, lean manufacturing practices set it apart from many other manufacturers.
Craig is passionate about life long education and over the past 2 years has combined an interest in Philosophy with management and leadership thinking which are now embedded in the business he leads.
Outside of work Craig is married and has 3 daughters. His interests have water as a common theme, sailing, fishing and watercolours.
