Meeting Facilitator: Glyn Lloyd

Glyn is a marketing and advertising professional with over 35 years experience working on leading B2B brands, both in the UK and internationally. Glyn forged the early part of his career working for some of the UK’s biggest advertising agencies, and until his ‘semi-retirement’ at the end of 2021 was the founder and MD of Northstar, an award winning marketing consultancy in Manchester which he founded in 2000.
Glyn now spends his time France and in the Cotswolds, where he enjoys walking with his wife and three dogs.

Group manager: Dominic Marlow

Dominic has a strong corporate background working for GKN, Britvic, then ACNielsen covering areas such as financial risk management, modelling and analytics and consumer/retail strategies. For the last 16 years he has run his own business working specifically with the small business community on planning – particularly exit planning – improvement and strategizing.  He has been involved directly with the sale of over 150 companies across all sectors, giving a deep understanding of where they both fail and succeed.

Simple confidentiality and membership agreement

  • MD2MD encourages engagement between members with each other and with speakers outside meetings.
  • We will always connect by email, leaving you to share phone numbers as you choose.
  • If you need to be connected to someone please simply ask a member of the team to connect you.
Membership, subscriptions and benefits

Between meetings:
MD2MD also aims to be a helpful source of information and contacts for members so if you need to know something or someone or need some service and think we might be able to point you in the right direction, please ask.

Finally MD2MD also endeavours to be there when you need us.  So if you have anything on your mind that you’d like to run past someone independent and detached yet supportive and experienced, please  ask your group manager and if they can’t help themselves they will endeavour to connect you with someone who can.

There is no additional fee for the quick high value limited time remote support MD2MD provides for members.  It is part of the service.  If you need more in-depth support, Bob is available for business coaching, mentoring, non exec roles and board facilitation.
