MD2MD challenges and supports operational business leaders to become better. Ours is not your typical coaching setup. Instead, we use a unique approach which is focused on the sharing of peer knowledge and experience between members. Meetings are moderated by world-class professional speakers to facilitate in a lively, healthy, and engaging discussion focused on scaling growth and solving problems.

Who is MD2MD for?
Our MD2MD executive coaching and management training is designed for operational leaders – CEOs, founders and co-founders, board members, and managing directors. These are individuals who play a significant operational and strategic role within their respective organisations.
You will have the opportunity to learn from other bold professionals who have a high level of expertise and experience. This practical sharing of knowledge benefits and leaders across many different industries and sectors. Typically, our members lead tens or hundreds of staff.
A glimpse into MD2MD meetings
MD2MD business leader peer group meetings typically take one full day. These meetings are composed of two main parts:
1) Confidential peer challenge board discussion, and…
2) A practical workshop
The first component is the confidential peer challenge board discussion, which is essentially an open but confidential debate and discussion among the participants of the meetings.
You will tackle real-world problems and solutions with fellow leaders. Gain insight into the most pertinent challenges faced by business leaders and how others have overcome them. The second component is the practical workshop. In this portion of the one-day meeting, you will address specific aspects of your leadership practice and hone in on that issue.

About business in the Thames Valley
Despite recent economic downturns and volatility, things are looking up for the Thames Valley region as far as growth is concerned. Clear evidence of this is the huge increase of registered businesses in the region for 2018, which marks a 3-year growth rate of 20%. In particular, there is a noticeable increase in foreign direct investments (FDI) in the area.
The business landscape in Thames Valley is dominated by the tech sector, but there is also a growth in businesses involved in innovation, research, and development. A clear indication of this is the opening of the Thames Valley Science Park in March 2018.
In particular, the Berkshire area has reached the highest number of FDI projects (a new record) for the 2017/2018 period. Two other flourishing areas in the region are Reading and Oxford, which were listed as holding the top two positions in the annual “Good Growth in Cities” index. Increased household income, new jobs, and new businesses are all contributing factors.
