North West Hub at Haydock
For leaders in the North West of England: Cheshire, Lancashire, Manchester and Liverpool
Great businesses are built by great leaders. But even natural leaders need to work constantly in order to develop themselves. Great leaders never stop learning and never cease in their endeavour to improve the performance of their business by developing their own competence, confidence, and motivation as a leader. And the purpose of MD2MD is to enable you to do so too.
The Kaizen* leadership approach used by MD2MD is carefully constructed to help you raise your game as a leader. And in addition to enabling you to enjoy more success with less stress, we aim to help entrepreneurial ambitious medium sized businesses, in our view the workhorse of ‘UK plc’, to scale up and revolutionise the country’s performance just as the Kaizen* approach has revolutionised Manufacturing industry since the 1960s and 1970s.
Our aim is to ensure you leave every meeting inspired to make at least one improvement to your business immediately. And although we respect that it is your choice, we and the group are there to encourage and support you in making that happen such that you can feedback to the next meeting your success story and also what more you’ve learnt from implementing that action.

What happens in a North West Business Leaders meeting?
Most meetings of our North West Business Leaders group start at 8am and after briefly comparing experiences of the current trading environment spends the morning learning with and from each other through an interactive workshop led by a top professional speaker. After lunch and a catch up and feedback session, the group works together in confidential session as a peer challenge board for the remainder of the afternoon, departing by 4:30 to avoid the traffic.
Whilst all meetings of the group work to the ethos of leaders learning with and from leaders, a few variations complement this normal format of which the most notable is our annual conference LeaderFest. For more detail of the various meetings, click here.
