Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some of the most common questions asked by Managing Directors and other business leaders interested in joining MD2MD.
If, like our members, you lead an established business, and share their ambition for greater business success, then probably. The only way to be sure is to try a meeting for yourself.
Whilst MD2MD operates within the areas described we don’t stop people from outside the area from being members, and this can work if someone travels into the area significantly as part of their role. Indeed, we currently have members who work in London and live the other end of the country! We also have our online option due to the current pandemic, meaning that location is not an issue at all.
Membership works best if you run an an established business like our members. To deliver a return on investment your business needs to be sufficiently established that you lead as much as you sell or deliver. That probably means that more than ten people are actively involved in the business and you probably have revenues of £500k to £50M.

Mini conferences where we bring all MD2MD groups together for a day, and sometimes with other business leaders to interact in ways that can’t be achieved in small groups.

As business leaders ourselves, we know the importance of being prudent and careful with the cash, as do our existing members. What they recognise is that businesses actually succeed not by eliminating all costs, but by investing smartly in ways that generate revenues and a return on investment.
For most leaders the cash cost to their business of their time in attending MD2MD is more than the cash cost. The opportunity cost is even greater. So as with everything, the real issue is value. Click here for more information.
