David Sanger

Having trained as a chartered accountant with Ernst & Young, David switched to the advertising industry & worked for the Lopex Group for 2 years.

In 1991 David founded Rollover as a chain of coffee shops, although David focused on the wholesale supply of food equipment & consumables after 1995. He grew the company into the UK’s largest Hot Dog company, supplying 79 of the top 90 football stadia, 9 of the top 10 theme parks, cinema chains, & 5000 other customers as well as supermarkets including Sainsbury’s, Tesco & Asda.

By August 2006, when David sold his company to Piper Private Equity, 47 Rollover Hot Dogs were being eaten every minute of every 24 hour day & Rollover had reached turnover of £9m & profitability of £1.6m p.a.

David has received many business awards including the Institute of Directors’ Entrepreneurial Director of the Year Award in 2003, and the CBI’s Award for Innovative Company of the Year in 2004

David now acts as a non executive director for a number of companies in different sectors, including Rollover; Instant Offices – the world’s largest serviced offices broker.    

David is also Chairman of ScentAir UK which he founded in 2008 & this has quickly grown to become the UK’s largest provider of air scenting systems to businesses.

David also works for several charities, helping with strategy & fundraising, including: Giving Africa, which builds schools in Africa; Treloar’s Trust, which is a residential college for severely disabled children; Wellington College, which is enhancing its facilities.
