Where does the South Central (Oxford) business leaders’ group meet?
The group covers the Central South of England between the Midlands and Thames Valley and usually meets at the SAID Business School near to the railway station in Central Oxford. That venue is readily accessible by both bus and train to Oxford Station (served by Great Western, Chiltern and Cross Country) as well as the Park and Ride by Seacourt Tower close to the A34 in Botley, West of Oxford.
The South Central Business Leaders Group is designed specifically for Managing Directors and similar business leaders that live or work in Oxfordshire, South Warwickshire, West Buckinghamshire, East Gloucestershire, and North Berkshire including towns:
- North along the M40 to Banbury, Warwick, Leamington, Redditch and Solihull
- North West along the A44 to Chipping Norton, Stow-on-the-Wold, Moreton-in-the-March, Stratford-upon-Avon and Evesham
- South down the A34, A420 and A4074 to Oxford, Wallingford, Wantage, Abingdon and Didcot.
- East along the M40 to Thame, Chalgrove, Wheatley and Watlington
- West along the A40 and A4095 from Witney and Woodstock to Burford, Lechlade, Cirencester and Northleach
So if you are based around the glorious hills of the Cotswolds or the beautiful valleys of the Thames, Windrush, Cherwell, Avon and Evenlode or the Vale of the White Horse this is the group for you. Subject of course to ensuring there are no conflicts of interest with existing members as it is essential part of our process that members should be able to speak openly about their challenges at our meetings.

What happens in a South Central (Oxfordshire) business leaders’ group meeting?
Most meetings at our South Central (Oxford) Hub start at 8am and after briefly comparing experiences of the current trading environment members spends the morning learning with and from each other through an interactive workshop led by a top professional speaker. After lunch, catch up and feedback session, the group works together as part of a confidential peer challenge discussion for the remainder of the afternoon, departing by 4:30 to avoid the traffic.
